A horizontally long painting on paper and gold leaf depicts a chaotic crowd and two ox-drawn carriages. At left, dark smoke clouds rise behind light-skinned figures who run and tumble toward our right. Wearing white, red, and green robes, the figures move among green trees and timber buildings. Shimmering gold leaf fills the background, while dark ink shapes anchor both ends of the scene.
