A vertical hanging scroll depicts Shakyamuni Buddha with a medium-light skin tone seated cross-legged on a lotus throne. Larger than those around him, he wears patterned red robes, one hand touching the ground. Two smaller monks, about half his size, flank him, while narrative scenes fill the surrounding green landscape and blue sky. A green halo and blue rays encircle his head, and a red-roofed building occupies the bottom right corner.
