About The Event

Curating Fashion in Cleveland will be a moderated talk conducted by Sarah Scaturro, the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Eric and Jane Nord Chief Conservator, with CMA Assistant Curator of Fashion Darnell-Jamal Lisby and Patty Edmonson, Museum Advisory Council Curator of Costume and Textiles at Western Reserve Historical Society, exploring the nuances of fashion curation and conservation in the region. In addition to this conversation, the event will include a demonstration to bring fashion from CMA artworks into the physical world, as seen in the Cleveland History Center’s costume collection.

Column & Stripe, Friends of African and African American Art, and Textile Art Alliance members will receive a digital invitation.
