A horizontally oriented etching in black ink uses fine, dark lines to depict a landscape of tall trees. A large tree with textured bark dominates the left foreground, its canopy reaching toward the center. Three small figures walk along a dirt path in the middle ground. Dense foliage is rendered through intricate hatching against a light sky with wispy clouds. To the right, additional trees frame the scene above a shadowed, uneven foreground.
