A vertically oriented oil painting with an arched top depicts a stream flowing through a forest. Two large trees frame the center, their branches arching toward one another. Blended brushstrokes render mossy bark and dark rocks in the foreground, where water trickles toward us, reflecting the landscape. Beyond the woodland, a hazy, golden valley recedes toward distant blue mountains under a pale sky. Shaded greens contrast with the luminous depth of the distant horizon.
