A vertically oriented oil painting captures a weathered wharf with thick, visible brushstrokes. Shimmering shades of green and gray reflect across the water in the lower half of the canvas. To the right, dark vertical pilings support a wooden pier extending into the distance. Two small boats, red and gray, float on the left. Two reddish-brown buildings with gray roofs stand behind the pier under a pale sky, their forms rendered in textured layers.
