A tan paper features several columns of Chinese calligraphy in black ink. On the right, large, widely spaced characters streak down the page. To the left, a denser block of smaller script appears. Small, square red stamps are positioned at the bottom left of each text grouping. The ink strokes vary in thickness and density, sometimes fading. The composition balances the bold, expansive writing on the right with the delicate, compact text on the left.
