Did You Know?

Lake Erie has the largest fish population among the Great Lakes, more than all the others combined.
A horizontally oriented oil painting depicts a green hill in the lower half where long, dark shadows stretch from the left. Slender, gray-brown tree trunks stand along the slope, including a thick one on the far left. Beyond the hill, a smooth, muted blue body of water meets a straight horizon, a pale sky of a similar color in the upper half. Thin branches with daubs of green leaves hang from the top.
