Description

In the lower corner of this lace handkerchief, the letters "V" and "L" with a nine-point coronet above them, have been created in lace and inset into the plain weave linen.
An off-white linen handkerchief features a square plain weave center framed by a wide border of bobbin lace. A central embroidered crown sits above a script monogram on the plain fabric. Surrounding this center, the lace showcases repeating patterns of rose blossoms and leaves set within a fine mesh. The handkerchief's outermost edge is finished with a wide scalloped border composed of small, repetitive curves.
