Did You Know?

Artist Samuel Isham died on a golf course from an aneurysm.
A vertically oriented oil painting depicts an older man with light skin tone seated and turned toward our right. Deep lines and a set mouth mark his weathered face. He wears a black wide-brimmed hat, coat, and bow tie. His wrinkled hands, shown with thick brushstrokes, clasp a wooden cane. The chair's carved lion heads emerge beside him against a background of muted green and brown brushstrokes.
