Looking for ways to further your creative journey in the company of others? This program is for teens who aspire to develop themselves as artists and professionals.

Teen Portfolio Project is an advanced-level programs where teens explore what it takes to create a visual arts portfolio. Over the course of 16 weeks, teens meet weekly to explore visual literacy, art-making techniques, and what it means to be an artist. Teens are introduced to a wide range of skills and mediums to develop a portfolio of diversified artworks. These tools allow teens the opportunity to apply to universities with a professional portfolio, and to eventually enter a profession.

Program Highlights and Expectations

· Amplify teen voices at the museum and beyond

· Meet once a week, on Wednesdays, at the museum

· Receive a stipend for program participation

· Take a deep dive into the workings of a museum

Applicants are not required to be artists.

Requirements

· Be enrolled in a Cleveland-area high school for the 2026–27 school year.

· Be willing and able to fully commit to the program

· Be open to learning, listening, working on a team, and sharing your ideas
