Currently Under Curation (CUC) Fellows

Have you ever wondered what secrets can be uncovered through material objects? Curious about the process of selecting objects for display in museums? This program is your chance to learn all of this and more!

Currently Under Curation (CUC) is an advanced-level program focused on the research and design of a display using the items in the CMA’s Education Art Collection. Throughout this long-term fellowship, students are able to grow their skills not only in creative marketing but also in public speaking as they present their research in a culminating grand opening of their display. Throughout their time in the program, students are encouraged to network with museum professionals and participate in both personalized museum tours and exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences.

Program Highlights and Expectations

· Amplify teen voices at the museum and beyond

· Meet once a week, on Wednesdays, at the museum

· Receive a stipend for program participation

· Take a deep dive into the workings of a museum

Applicants are not required to be artists.

Requirements

· Be enrolled in a Cleveland-area high school for the 2026–27 school year

· Be willing and able to fully commit to the program

· Be open to learning, listening, working on a team, and sharing your ideas
