Teaching Innovation Fellowship
Are you an educator committed to transforming teaching and learning through experimentation and innovative practices? We invite pre-K to grade 12 educators across all content areas to apply for a yearlong, immersive fellowship focused on enhancing pedagogical practice through object-based learning. This program provides a structured opportunity to integrate hands-on inquiry with reflective, research-informed practice.
Program Highlights:
- Mandatory four-day summer session, July 14–17, 2026
- Fellows participate in monthly convenings during the academic year (scheduled on either Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings) sharing insights from self-designed action-research projects.
- Graduate credit and CEUs are available; participants receive a $1,000 stipend and a certificate of completion after meeting program expectations.
- Application deadline: Friday, April 24, 2026
Program Goals:
- Enhance educators’ understanding and application of gallery teaching and object-based learning methodologies
- Promote evidence-based pedagogical innovation and exploration through individualized action-research projects
- Build a collaborative cohort of educators committed to inquiry-driven teaching practices
- Develop a collaborative gallery-based experience that may serve the fellow’s own students or colleagues
- Contribute to the broader field of education by disseminating findings and advocating for best practices
This fellowship integrates experiential, hands-on learning with reflective, research-informed practice, fostering both professional growth and the generation of actionable insights for the broader educational community.
