A vertically oriented etching in black ink with fine, delicate lines depicts leafless trees on a bank. In the center, several thick trunks lean at various angles, their spindly branches filling the top of the frame. Behind them, a thin horizontal line extends across the background. Dense cross-hatching creates a dark, grassy slope in the lower right, while a small sapling and handwritten text appear on the left.
