A vertically oriented print of black ink on cream paper depicts a pelican perched atop a wooden post. The bird faces our right with its beak angled downward, its feathers defined by dense, dark hatching. Centered in the lower half, the post rises from water marked with horizontal ripples. A low horizon line separates the water from a sky textured with light strokes. A signature and edition number appear in the bottom margin.
