A heavy stoneware vessel in mottled black and brown tapers outward toward its base. Two lug handles sprout from the upper rim. Vertical seams, punctuated by rows of rectangular, stitch-like indentations, march down the body, cutting through subtle horizontal ridges. A matte glaze coats the rough, stony texture, where golden-yellow highlights speckle the uneven surface. The dark, earthy form appears segmented, as if bound or stitched together into a sturdy cylinder.
